You get a more controlled spray from those. But I have come to realise that adding a teaspoonful when dissolving the dye makes it dissolve so much easier.  Also, most recipes say salt is not necessary for LWI dyeing but I have found you get a much better absorbtion of the dye when you include it (50g/ltr). I once made a quilt where the quilting was sort of a conversation I heard on a train journey. You know how people use their mobile phones and the whole carridge benefits. I just couldn&amp;#39;t concentrate on reading so started writing down what I thought the person on the other end of the line to the woman on the train was saying.
